  On Aug 3, 2016, SanghWE was invited to present at the 2016 Annual Convention organized by Asian American Psychology Association (AAPA) in Denver. Founded in the early 70s by Asian American Psychologists and mental health professionals in San Francisco, AAPA has pioneered and advocated for a multicultural and multilingual psychology movement in the United States. Throughout its history, AAPA has published journals, trained psychologists and supported research to improve mental health services for Asian Americans. SanghWE’s Virtual Clinical Team headed by Dr.Uma Millner and the founder Padmaja Surenranath presented the solution model for delivering culturally specific psycho-social support for South Asian survivors of Inter-Personal Violence in the US.
